Summer 2005 Sloppy's has survived another winter under our siege. The beautiful weather of winter has started melting into the heat of summer, and memories of the last few months linger much like a bad hangover after a Pete and Wayne Show. All the beautiful people made it down at one point or another. Of course, there's always Craven Moorehead, Bob Seegar and the crew visiting once every few weeks. Chuck the F%#K from Chowdah fame stayed for a month!! And then there was the week "The Dish" brought five wild women down to stay out on Sunset Key and ended up breaking the coffee table in the cottage thanks to some weird Girl-on-Girl action!! (they said they were doing body shots) The Pittsburgh stalkers, the Pittsburgh cops, the Jay and Janet contingent, Linda and "Mike the Cop" and their drunken friends from Philly, Lou and Pete for a little breast exposure from New York, Bob Cott (Doctor Breast) and the Pete and Wayne Portland Fan Club (once again for some breast), the Shastavoviches made a family trek, the testicle festival folks from upstate New York, The Greek and family, along with Retired Tommy the former IRS guru, and so many more we can't remember them all!! Most recently, Pete once again Indian leg wrestled the lovely Mrs. Gibbs from Marco Island on stage. Results this year were the same as the last three years, but this time he gave her a run for the money at least. Locals have started showing up as well on a regular basis!! Scott (F#%K You, Pete) Barry shows up, usually on the same nights Mr. and Mrs. Doodie show up. Roadie Ric is now an official Key Wester even though he goes up North in the summer, and every Wednesday we have the dog sitters in the front row for the show. Soccer Kris is a regular face to see, as is Bean from the Green Parrot along with others who work there! Wish we could mention you all, but that would be too labor-intensive and we've got some drinking to do. So, we've got a great summer tour planned this year. A lot of the old familiar places we always enjoy visiting. Places like Put-In-Bay, Ohio, Old Orchard Beach, Maine, The Elks Club in Enfield, Connecticut, Duffy's in Lake George, Pirates Cove in Cinci; but we're also hitting some of the newer ones from last year. For example, we are doing the show again in Ithaca, New York, but it'll be a Friday night gig! This time around we've got some new adventures. As of June 21st we are doing five shows in Anchorage, Alaska!! We plan to try and make it an annual event. Check our schedule on the website calendar for the details, and if you can plan it, do a trip up and make the Anchorage shows. Call the number for the venue up there, and they'll give you names of places to stay. Excuse the pun, but it would be cool if some of you could make it up!! Also got another new show planned in the Boston area. In Dedham, Mass, we're doing a Saturday night show at a venue called Mosley's on the Charles. Again, get on the website and check the schedule for details. In a stroke of brilliance, a new method of doing the show, we're using promoters and everything!! Just like the real guys do. So if you can get a bunch of people together and make it, please do. The Hilton there is giving everybody who needs a room a special rate and providing shuttles to and from the show!! Holiday weekends (the Fourth and Labor Day), we'll be at another one of our favorites, Gators, in Treasure Island, Florida, near St. Pete (no relation). Our two favorite quotes from there are:"Gotta go to Gator's" and in memorandum "The Ruth, The Ruth, The Ruth is on fire!!". So, as some of you have learned, check our website for dates and times and check it often. Yes, it's been updated and confirmed and reconfirmed so all information should be accurate.....as best as we can recollect at the time. We like to blame it on the web guys but it's really Pete who can't work a calendar. Really looking forward to seeing you drunks along the road. Hope the winter was not too unkind to you, and hey, you know it's summer 'cause here comes Pete and Wayne!! Peace, People!
